Leicester Conspiracy ?
Could all the Leicester players be on some magical Italian Elixir that Ranieri has brought over possibly from the Vatican used by reigning popes that makes his players as strong as an Ox fast as Leopard and brave as Bull, or am I just talking Bull?.
Are Leicester just brilliant or are teams or some players in teams loosing out of a respect for fairy tales, ie not really giving 100%.
Personally I think Leicester are the real deal and are playing out of their skins, although some gooner did point out that they have used only 18 players all season which is remarkable.
Blackburn did it once so maybe its simply about law of averages that a so called small team will win the title.
But would it shock you if some very shady yet very very powerful men in football who control it used their powers to pull strings, anything is possible I guess.
But then again Vardy was playing for small teams like Fleetwood a few years ago and now he is playing for Leicester and England banging them in, so these things do happen I guess, or do they?.

FG don't know if your calculation means them losing at Chelsea last game of the season but I bet whatever result they need they will get, Chelsea won't want Tottenham to win it

Villa could do a lot worse than employ the nutter that is Nigel Pearson...

I just hope the LCFC people give (some) due credit to that nutter Pearson when they lift the trophy.

Didn't their run start when they beat us 2-1 at Leicester?

By my calculations, Leicester will get 10 more points, Spurs another 12.

How about the league table, and the fact they've played us twice this season, and won both times?

I just think they've scored more goals than their opponent more often than their opponents.

Luck and injuries could make the difference between 7th and 5th for example. They are about to absolutely piss the league. There is no luck there.

Imagine if there had been an IPL auction at the start of the season.

Goalkeeper - Schmeicel - goes cheap at the end

Defenders - Wes Morgan and Robert Huth - last two left at the end

Midfield - Mark Albrighton - no thanks

Come to that, manager Ranieri fresh from his Greek disaster?

Great example that it's a team game and great contrast with the so called superstar individuals at Chelsea

Never really noticed Popes being as strong as Oxen or as fast as Leopards.

Bloody hell, he put a nifty on it!

If they win the league, I'm sure he can live with the thought of the money he missed out on.

Yeah. When you're up you're up. That's what mist gamblers fail to understand. Up is profit. In his case shed loads. Why wouldn't you cash out?

"A penny for the thoughts of the Leicester fan"

One of them I would imagine is over the moon as the reason he cashed out was because he was starting not to enjoy the games because of the bet, so the bloke has won a shed load of money and is going to enjoy seeing his side win the PL,

From the Guardian

A penny for the thoughts of the Leicester fan who cashed out a 5,000-1 wager on the Foxes winning the title. He won £72,000 in March but would have earned £250,000 had he held out and Leicester do too.

Fair point on Spain though I suspect UEFA's financial fair play rules had more to do with that than the additional TV money because whilst the additional money allowed more clubs to spend more, the FFP appears to have stopped the rampant transfer fee inflation caused by clubs like Chelsea and Man City leveraging to the hilt to buy players and sending fees for good players beyond all but the top clubs

Now unable to leverage to the same extent despite the rich backers, clubs like our own can buy good players without paying ruinous transfer fees Hopefully another benefit will be a progressive approach to youth development which benefits clubs and the international side alike

But despite all that, Leicester this season is an incredible story that the Premier League does not sponsor

Re: Leicester Conspiracy ?
When you think about it it really isn't that amazing because if we'd not had the injuries we'd had (and if we hadnt had some very poor ref decisions) then we would be right up there with them.

Re: Leicester Conspiracy ?
As good as home, they have won it now.
Ranieri is clearly a very good and likable manager, always liked and rated him. They have a good group of players playing without fear and working their bollocks off who realised that they can win it and have shown no respect to the so called big clubs. They got on a roll and have seen no reason to stop whilst riding their luck with injuries and decisions. Also the "big boys" are not that good this season which has also helped them obviously.

Fair play to them and if not us then I'm happy for them.
